The LightHouse for New Hope has developed their own unique curriculum, which creatively uses all of a person’s senses to explore their grief.
We call our approach to grief, “The Sensible Approach to Grief”. Many teachers use a multi-sensory approach to teaching and the LightHouse for New Hope has embraced this concept to help children and adults explore their loss. Music, board games, puppets, videos, books, and art are some of the tools used in the curriculum to explore the participant’s grief. Participants report that this is so much fun and they enjoy coming.
We have a winning combination of great curriculum and wonderful facilitators!!
