Schedule
Each peer support group
meets one night per week for a one-hour session. There will be
three independent family groups, each serving 30 children
and 20 adults for a 14-week period. There will be one death loss
grief group meeting on Monday evenings and two divorce recovery
groups, one meeting on Tuesday evenings the other on Thursday evenings.
These programs will be broken down into 3 sessions per
year.
In addition, we at the Lighthouse believe seniors who have experienced
the loss of a spouse after many years of marriage grieve with an
intensity that can cause them to lose their desire to live. There
will be a two-hour session on Wednesday mornings focused at the
needs of this special group.

Peer Support Groups:
• Provided at no cost to participants
• For children experiencing a death loss of parents, siblings, grandparents
or friends
• For children experiencing a divorce or separation loss in their family
• For senior citizens who have experienced a death loss of a spouse
• For parents who have experienced a death loss of a child
Location and Facilities
The Lighthouse will be located on E. Hwy 80 in Sunnyvale, Texas. The curriculum
for the program embraces the building by promoting a relaxed, fun environment
for sharing.
